Marcel received his undergrad from LeTourneau University. He played collegiate basketball for 4 years and holds the all-time record for the highest field goal percentage in school history. After graduating, he entered the retail industry while furthering his education to attain a master’s degree.
He started his journey in the financial services industry in 2014 as a captive salesperson with a life insurance company. He was determined that being a captive insurance salesperson at that company did not serve clients well. He then transitioned to a boutique comprehensive financial planning firm in 2016, accruing over $25mm of assets for the form in the first 6 quarters of joining that firm. He helped the firm grow to a federally registered level, then realized the firm’s purpose was not his.
Established in 2020, EXOS Wealth Strategies aims to design a firm that focuses on the client’s journey and experience and less on firm revenues.
EXOS Wealth Strategies started out with no assets, only to increase to $25 Million+ today.
With Louimeus’ extensive experience and determination, he was recognized as a ’50 Under 50’ best African American Advisor by the Association of African American Financial Advisors in 2021
